Greetings brothers and sisters!

 

I am excited to have been given the opportunity to lead an exemplary organization like no other, in the Filipino American Law Enforcement Officers Association (FALEO - SF). It is unique in its vision and its purpose, comprised of the most talented and dedicated members of not only the Law Enforcement community but the general professional industry family. I hope to continue the great work that my predecessors have built, and improve upon the foundation they have paved for me and the new executive board. We want to continue the many traditions FALEO have established and introduce the many ideas we have, with the hopes that we may implement them, and ultimately benefiting the entire membership as a whole, including our growing Chapters. For those whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting, let me share my background with you so that you may have an idea of who I am. I have been a member of the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) for 16 years and currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit (SVU) - Human Trafficking detail. I was previously assigned to Central Station, Park Station, Special Investigations Division (SID) - Mayor’s Security Detail (MSD), Field Operations Bureau (FOB), Richmond Station, Taraval Station, and Ingleside Station. I am also a Task Force Officer with Homeland Security Investigations. I am an academy instructor (investigations) and a former FTO Sergeant. I am a product of the San Francisco public school system and a graduate of San Francisco State University, with a major in Criminal Justice. I am a transplant from a small province in Rizal, Philippines, migrating to the US when I was 8 years old. I am a Past Master of Columbia Brotherhood Lodge, No. 370, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of California and an officer in several concordant bodies of freemasonry. I am a member of the SFPOA, SFAPOA and Widows and Orphans. I have been a member of the Philippine Exchange Training (PET) Program since 2010 and FALEO since. I hope to utilize my humble experiences in my duties as President of FALEO and I am looking forward to working with our line officers to ensure that we secure our growth as an organization and develop a progressive system to ensure that our members are given the opportunity to be empowered, afforded training, and offered a network of friends and acquaintances that will help them with self growth and career development.
